ESG Commitments

Our commitment to ESG principles is reflected in every aspect of our operations, from using sustainable materials and promoting product longevity to engaging with local communities and conserving energy. Through transparency, consumer education, and ethical governance, we continuously strive to reduce our environmental impact while supporting social development.

Eco-Friendly Toilet

Eco-Friendly Toilet: We collect and reuse rainwater and wastewater for various purposes, such as watering plants, flushing toilets, and washing floors, contributing to water conservation.

Sustainable Development (Rubberwood): Rubberwood, initially grown for latex extraction, is repurposed for furniture production after its latex-harvesting life cycle, making it an economically and environmentally sustainable resource.

Sustainable Development (Packaging): We have replaced environmentally harmful materials like polystyrene with renewable, eco-friendly alternatives, such as honeycomb board, in our packaging.

Sustainable Design (Product Longevity): Our designs focus on extending product lifespans. DIY products feature interchangeable parts, washable or replaceable covers, and individual seat cushions, reducing the need for product disposal.

Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction (Solar Energy): Our operations are powered by solar energy, significantly reducing carbon emissions.

Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction (Electric Trucks): We have switched to electric reach trucks to further reduce our carbon footprint.

Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction (Air Conditioning): Setting air conditioners to 25°C or higher helps conserve energy and reduce electricity consumption.

Scrap Material Utilisation: We repurpose scrap materials into handcrafted items, minimising waste and promoting creative reuse.

Woodworking Workshop – Art Space: We have established a woodworking and creative space that educates the public about respecting nature while providing “home office” opportunities for artisans to showcase and sell their work.

Supporting Local Communities (Donations): We regularly visit and donate to old folks’ and children’s homes, as well as respond to flood relief efforts by donating furniture to disaster victims.

Supporting Local Communities (Donations): In the renovation of Star of the Sea Kindergarten in Pangkor, we introduced eco-friendly and durable furniture for the teachers, giving the learning environment a fresh look. We continue our commitment to a sustainable and green future by creating safe, nature-inspired spaces.

Supporting Local Communities (Arts Festival): As co-organisers of the Muar Arts Festival, we promote artistic and cultural activities within the community.

Supporting Local Communities (Education Sponsorship): We sponsor Independent Chinese School education initiatives to support youth development.

Supporting Local Communities (Charity Sales): We create and sell charity items made from scrap materials, donating the proceeds to charitable organizations, such as the “916 Concert Night of Malaysian Culture.”

Governance (Supply Chain Transparency): We prioritise supply chain transparency to ensure our products meet sustainable standards, tracing materials, production conditions, and environmental impacts. Our compliance with labour laws, tax laws, customs regulations, and anti-corruption measures upholds our ethical commitments.

Educating Consumers: We actively promote sustainable development through educational initiatives, such as visiting kindergartens to share the story of the rubber tree. These activities, which include creative drawing sessions using leftover materials, raise consumer awareness of sustainability and encourage environmentally conscious purchasing decisions.
